My name’s Mark and the good looking one on the left is Sohail.
You’re probably wondering about our name – well, if your reading this then it’s done its job. I honestly haven’t a clue where it really came from – I wish there was a great story to tell but there isn’t, only that a good while ago it sprang from the dark recesses of my mind and kind of stuck – even if you think it’s a bit silly at the very least I hope its made you smile.
So where have we come from? I’ve always been passionate about service and not in a management style gobbledey gook way but in really getting to know what you as customers need. When I was in your position (and yes I once had a proper job) I found that whilst one shop had the tastiest sandwich filings I actually preferred the bread from somewhere else, whilst another had the best coffee etc. Annoying isn’t it. So with my idea and Sohail’s catering experience (he used to be a chef in a top London hotel) we decided to do something about it.
We’re passionate about our stuff. The bread is freshly baked in store every day. We’ve sampled hundreds of different coffee blends to get something which we think is truly distinctive. I even went fact finding in Australia to find out how to make the best fresh fruit and vegetable juices. If you’ve been you’ll know what I mean, if not try one - you’ll be hooked. All our ingredients are from the best suppliers that we’ve personally visited and checked. Everything is freshly made on site. Nothing is processed or reformed, doctored or rehashed – for example our crisps do not contain monosodium glutamate, unlike almost everyone else’s. We’re free range, organic and fair trade wherever it’s practical and if you’re really really fussy we’ve even got nut-free, wheat-free and gluten-free products.
If you have any suggestions or comments, or just want a chat, you now know who we are. You can even have poke around our kitchen if you ask really nicely (but make sure you’re clean or Danusha won’t be happy)
We’ve taken the best elements from everyone else, added our sparkle and take on ‘fresh’ and the result is buttyboys. Enjoy it!
